Your post about the Australian taxi made me laugh and reminded me of a fabulous Russell Crowe story:

Russell Crowe, when a young and out-of-work actor, was filling in as a waiter in a coffee shop. An American woman asked for a de-caff and when he plonked a cup of hot water down in front of her said (in response to her objection):

“Lady, when we do de-caff in Australia, we don’t f**k around”

He was sacked….
