“Yes, I even parted with ducats!”
Having recently fallen victim by subscribing to Tyler Brûlé’s newest offering, I became so intrigued by the Design Briefing in February’s edition, as well as the online News Report feature on Soho-based menswear start-up Albam, that this afternoon, on discovering that I had a couple of hours to kill, Scootered over to take a look.
The simplicity and style of their clothing, the neutral decor and the charming and chatty front-of-house was spot on. So, if the intimidation projected by so many of London’s hidden menswear shops has become a bore, and with summer just round the corner, you would certainly do well to check Albam out.
